Deposit match bonuses

A match adds bonus funds as a percentage of a qualifying deposit, usually capped at a maximum amount. Those bonus funds are typically locked until you meet a wagering requirement — a multiple of the bonus, or of bonus plus deposit, stated in the terms. Games contribute differently; live tables often contribute less than slots, and some titles contribute nothing.

Free spins

Spins are attached to named slot games at a fixed stake. Winnings from spins may themselves carry wagering before they become withdrawable cash. Always check the expiry window: unused spins usually vanish after a short period.

Cashback

Cashback returns a percentage of net losses over a period, sometimes as bonus money with its own playthrough, sometimes as cash. It is not a profit guarantee; it only softens a losing stretch if you already played and lost.

Wagering requirements

If a bonus shows “35x”, you generally need to stake thirty-five times the relevant amount before withdrawal of bonus-derived funds is allowed. Max-bet rules during wagering are common — going over the stated stake can void the promotion. Time limits apply. If the maths looks uncomfortable, declining the bonus is a valid choice; UK operators must still let you play with cash-only balances.
